Synopsis
“Tree of Life” is a documentary about a repressed and widely taboo subject: 14 million children and teenagers in southern Africa are orphans because of AIDs. This figure will climb to 20 million by the year 2010. The numbers are hard to grasp and say nothing about the daily lives of these orphaned children. This film addresses and highlights the fate of the AIDs orphans, Wezzie and Zingano, who live in Malawi. This film tells their story of fear, sadness and hope.
