After Anna Christeiner has successfully prevented the desecration of the idyllic East Tirol mountain region by the intrusion of a gigantic ski circus, Anna marries the love of her life, the engineer Johannes Wallner . Also, the fragile relationship with his brother Markus, the father of her little daughter Elise, has been smoothed over as well. But her happiness is short-lived. Johannes´ new office is razed by a lightning storm. Leni Wallner, the mother of Johannes and Markus, offers to take in Anna, her mother Zensi , Elise, and Johannes at the Wallner estate. But the crowded everyday is just too much for everyone. The marriage is pressed to the limits when Johannes spends day and night working for the attractive hotel owner Sabine von Auen. Meanwhile, Markus sees a chance to win back Anna, whom he still loves.
