Habermann

When Habermann, a respected businessman, marries Jana, who is half Jewish, everyone in the village is sincerely delighted for them. But this is the Sudetenland, and the peaceful times are over; that very same day Adolf Hitler declares that the Sudeten Germans are being “brought back into the German Reich“. It is a terrible omen, and before too long the apolitical Habermann inadvertently ends up right in the middle of things.
