Our Commitment to Sustainable Work

Our planet Earth is a precious gift to humanity. Together, we can shape a future in which life remains worth living. Each of us can contribute to making this vision a reality. We aim to think globally and act locally to make the world a better place for future generations.

At WEGA Film, we continuously strive to integrate sustainability into storytelling and its realization, taking on a holistic environmental responsibility. We focus in particular on waste management, mobility, as well as energy production and consumption. Our approach is guided by the three pillars of sustainability: ecological, economic, and social responsibility. This means using resources only to the extent that they can regenerate, working efficiently and cost-effectively, and ensuring a responsible implementation for our employees.

This commitment is reflected in small actions—such as purchasing organic food and reusable bottles for daily use—as well as in larger initiatives, like utilizing two extensive storage facilities for costumes and film furniture, reducing the need for new purchases. As a result, we have produced several films with virtually no costume acquisitions, significantly improving the CO₂ footprint of our projects.
