Happy landing

Germans are now the largest group of foreigners in Austria. Above all, they are attracted to the capital city, Vienna. For some, it is a new start in an unfamiliar world: a strange dialect, prejudices, differences in mentality. - The Viennese essayist Franz Schuh calls it culture shock. "Happy landing" is a portrait of how Germans make their way in Vienna. It portrays their everyday lives and observes how the co-existence between Viennese and Germans blends into a unique mixture of distance and proximity.
