Synopsis
Those who become ‚runaways‘ are drawn into the big, wide world when their nest becomes too confined. This is an impulse stirring more and more creative Austrians to leave. More than any other European city, Berlin has become a cultural hot spot and, for many, a new permanent home.
This film introduces some of these ‚runaways‘ who feel right at home in the thriving art and cultural scene of Berlin - without losing their original need for a tight community. This creates an interesting contrast between the sharp edges of a German urban jungle and Austrian sensitivities.
